Ozzie Smith

On today's episode, we welcome Ozzie Smith also known as "The Wizard". He was known for his tenacity on the baseball field as a short stop spending the majority of his MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals following his three year run with the San Diego Padres. In 1982, he helped lead the Cardinals to win the World Series. In 2002, Ozzie Smith was inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Ozzie is a 13-time Gold Glove winner, has set major league records for assists, double plays and total chances.

Known for his back flips when he would take the field, Ozzie Smith excited fans with the energy he would bring to the field. However, Ozzie is more than the sum of all of his accomplishments. He is a man of integrity, hard work ethic, and discipline. He shares with us that you only get out of something what you put in.
