On today's episode, we sit down with NFL Hall of Famer, Tim Brown. Tim Brown was the second ever wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy and he ended up as the only player ever to retire in the NFL's top 5 leaders for both receiving and return yards. Tim spent the majority of his professional football career with the Raiders and was able to play with some of the greatest football players of all time. This Texas native loves football, family, and playing golf, but most importantly he loves Jesus and uses his story to point others to Him. I am so excited to share his journey with you all.
Life seldomly goes as planned. Tim Brown's story illustrates how God's plans are much greater than ours. Tim originally wanted to move back to Dallas, marry his high school sweetheart, and become a Deacon in church. What he didn't know was God had an amazing-unexpected plan for him to attend Notre Dame, become the first ever wide receiver to win the Heisman trophy, and eventually get inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. When you listen to Tim's story and all the twists and turns of his path, you will surely see how God's divine plan was intertwined in even the smallest of details. Sit back, relax, and get your pens ready because this is Write it Down.
