A reverse diet is basically a phase in your diet where you reintroduce the calories you've taken away to restore homeostasis in the body and your metabolic system. Without doing this you run the risk of metabolic adaptation, hormonal imbalances, and overall lack of energy and performance in the gym and in life.
When I start with every client I've ever had I take them through a reverse diet and explain the why behind this so today I'm sharing that knowledge with all of you. Without a proper reverse diet/maintenance phase your diet overtime will become unsuccessful due to metabolic adaptation.
